ITB Mobile Guide by Campagnon and GIATA

For the first time, ITB Berlin offers a mobile phone guide to their guests: using the ITB Mobile Guide - provided by GIATA & TOURIAS - the visitors to the fair will easily find their way on the fairground in Berlin, Germany. In addition to a site plan, the visitors will also find events of the ITB congress, as e.g. news conferences, presentations, receptions, and a list of exhibitors.

After the fair closes, the ITB Mobile Guide will help its user to find the fastest way to the city centre and provides tips for Berlin nightlife: you can recall restaurants, bars, and touristy information on points of interest. The smart fair companion for your pocket can easily be downloaded onto many customary mobile phones, e.g. via the mobile link on www.itb-berlin.de, using your mobile phone (WAP) on mobile.itb-berlin.de, via SMS call-off order (little cost will accrue once for the SMS or rather the download), or directly at a bluetooth-station at the GIATA stand (hall 6.1/stand 156).

The technology is based on the system of the mobile phone guide TOURIAS tips&deals. The system was developed by the tourism service provider Campagnon Media and GIATA in Würzburg, Germany, which is one of the leading content providers for tourism. Using TOURIAS tips&deals, tour operators can offer travel information to their customers on more than 100 travel destinations directly on their mobile phones.
